George C. Thomas Invitational Round 2 Recap: Price and Barber Share Lead Heading Into Final Round

Andrew Price fired the round of the day to join Jack Barber atop the leaderboard at 4-over through 36 holes at Los Angeles Country Club.

Andrew Price of Conway Farms, the 2024 Crump Cup champion, fired an even-par 71 to surge into a share of the lead at the George C. Thomas Invitational at Los Angeles Country Club, where he and first-round contender Jack Barber sit tied at 4-over through 36 holes. LACC played as a par 71 on Friday with the 7th set up as a par 4 from 310 yards, and with tucked pins and firm, windy conditions, even par was the round of the day. Christian Cavaliere, Will Davenport, and Nick Geyer are one back at 5-over in a tie for third.

Round 1 leader Stephen Hale and Patrick Christovich were still on the course with two holes to play when scoring was posted, sitting at 6-over in a tie for sixth alongside John Sawin. Miguel Ordonez matched Price's even-par 71 to climb from T26 to T9.
