On 2026-04-13: The USGA has announced that entries for the 2026 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship open on April 22 and close July 22. The championship will be held September 26 through October 1 at Sand Valley Resort in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. On 2026-04-09: Bryan Hoops of Tempe, Arizona, successfully defended his title at the 2026 Society of Seniors Senior Masters, held April 7–9 at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, California. Hoops closed with a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish at 7-under 208, claiming back-to-back victories in the 54-hole invitational stroke play event. The win cements his status as one of the top amateur senior players in the country.
On 2026-04-13: The AJGA Will Lowery Junior Championship tees off April 16–19 at Cramer Mountain Club in Gaston County, North Carolina. The 54-hole stroke play event will feature 78 of the nation's top junior golfers competing over three rounds on a challenging course along the South Fork River. The tournament is part of the AJGA's packed spring schedule, which offers 32 events from March through May and gives players opportunities to earn Performance Based Entry stars for premier summer tournaments.
