On 2026-04-04: U.S. Mid-Amateur champion Brandon Holtz is in final preparations for his Masters debut next week (April 9-12). The Illinois native and reinstated amateur punched his ticket by winning the U.S. Mid-Am at Troon Country Club last September and will be one of six amateurs teeing it up at Augusta National.

On 2026-04-04: The road to Scioto Country Club is officially open. U.S. Senior Open local qualifying is underway at 32 sites across 25 states, running through May 7. Amateurs 50-plus with a Handicap Index of 2.4 or better are eligible. Successful qualifiers advance to final qualifying at 12 sites from May 18 to June 15.

On 2026-04-04: Asterisk Talley takes a one-shot lead into today's final round at Augusta National after going bogey-free for 36 holes at Champions Retreat (66-67, 11-under).
