Hagestad Wins Crump Cup Championship Flight 3 and 2 Over Price at Pine Valley

Stewart Hagestad captured the Crump Cup Championship Flight with a 3 and 2 victory over Andrew Price in Sunday's final at Pine Valley Golf Club. Hagestad, who qualified with a 148, was dominant throughout match play, beating Chad Wilfong 5 and 4, Andrew Bailey 2 and 1, and Chris Wheeler 2 and 1 before closing out Price in the 18-hole final. Price earned his spot in the championship match the hard way, needing 19 holes to get past Jeronimo Esteve in the semifinals after beating Will Davenport 3 and 2 in the quarterfinals.
