Three-time champion Garrett Rank (2014-16) of Waterloo, Ont. is joined at 8-under by Evan Nachtigall of Brandon, Man. and Nolan vonKalckreuth of Fort Erie, Ont. Alex Large of Dead Mans Flats, Alta., Thad Hudgens of Longwood, Fla., and Mike Kray of Oakville, Ont. sit two back at 6-under 66, while Curtis Hall of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Haymes Snedeker of Point Clear, Ala. are T7 at 5-under.
