Boys only, ages 15–18; invitation only at the discretion of the Jones Cup Committee based on sustained excellence in junior and amateur golf; selections informed by USGA events, AJGA invitationals, Junior PGA results, and rankings
Overview
The Jones Cup Junior Invitational is one of the most prestigious boys-only junior invitationals in the American Southeast, held annually during the week of December 18–21 at Sea Island Resort’s world-class Seaside Course in coastal Georgia. Named in the spirit of golf legend Bobby Jones, the event draws the nation’s elite junior boys to a links-style oceanside course. The tournament is strictly invite-only and historically serves as a preview of the nation’s top incoming college recruits.
