Andy Dai of Markham, Ontario, posted rounds of 71-71-69 to finish at 5-under 211 and win the boys' division at the AJGA Junior Championship presented by Visit Tallahassee at Seminole Legacy Golf Club. Colten Lewis of Swainsboro, Ga., finished two back at 3-under. Elizabeth Guthrie of Charlotte, N.C., won the girls' title at 6-over 222 with a closing 72, one shot clear of Gia Ahlowalia of Southlake, Texas.
The 45th U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship began Saturday at Sand Valley Resort in Nekoosa, Wis., with 264 players teeing off in the first of two stroke play rounds. Seven past champions are in the field, led by three-time winner Stewart Hagestad, who is chasing a record-tying fourth title. The low 64 after Sunday's second round advance to match play on Monday.
