Andy Hydorn of Houston capped a breakthrough at BraeBurn Country Club, carding a 1-under 71 in Sunday's final round to win the 89th Texas Senior Amateur by one stroke at 1-under 215. Hydorn entered tied for the lead, struggled early, then birdied the par-5 18th to win outright over Buzz Baker, Bob Jacobson, and John Derrick.
